What To Expect In A Quality Job

What to expect in a quality job from Affordable Home Remodeling

  • Initial Inquiry: Courteous personnel will be happy to answer all of your questions, and determine just what you need or are looking for.  We will then find out what times work best for you, and schedule an appointment for an estimate.

  • Home appointment: At a time and day convenient to you, we will schedule a home estimate appointment.  We will discuss with you the best options for the specific job and address any concerns you might have.  We will walk through the house taking measurements and notes in order to provide a complete and detailed estimate.  There will be no pressure at the time of the home meeting.  Our standard operating procedure is to NOT focus on a “one-call-close.”

  • Written estimate/bid:  We will write up a bid with the price(s) detailing the options discussed. We can email, fax, or mail the bid, whichever option works best for you.  You may take your time to review the estimate and get back to us with your questions or comments.

  • Contract/ Down Payment:  Once a bid is approved, a contract will be written up.  We will finalize any specific measurements necessary in order to properly place the product order.  We typically ask for a 1/3 down payment with the balance due upon completion.

  • Job Schedule and Process:  Depending on the product and job type, a job is usually scheduled out between 3 and 6 weeks from the date the contract is signed.  We will work with your schedule and the product order to best determine the exact dates of installation.

  • On the Jobsite:  Our employee installers will show up and complete their job in a timely fashion with as little disturbance to your daily life as possible.  Our complete job includes cleaning up after ourselves, making sure the new product is clean, and hauling away all job-related debris.

  • Job Completion / Final Payment
    • Final payment is expected upon job completion
    • Warranties for the new product will be sent shortly after job completion
    • All necessary paperwork and product tags will be left for customer’s records
    • Service Requests:  Service requests are not typically necessary.  It is understood, however, that anything less than perfect at the time of installation will be addressed directly by an employee of Affordable Home Remodeling or the product manufacturer.  All service requests are expected to be coordinated through AHR.
